 rear wheel is 24", front is 26". The small rear provides better acceleration (less inertia/rolling resistance) and allows for a more aggressive/upright riding position.

 Sorry about the late reply, was out of town. Frame is large. Brakes are Hayes 4 piston, 8 inche rotors. Derailler is Shimano XT

 I'd consider more then then 850 but not much... Why not post a price so we can decide if it's worth our time??
